All courses are held via video conference. Note that lessons are tailored for each student individually, which means that you're not limited to one curriculum. For example, if you want to play the guitar and at the same time learn how to read notes, that can be arranged.
Ukulele
The ukulele, commonly associated with the playful tunes of Hawaii, has massively gained popularity in western culture over the last decade and for good reason. If you're a beginner musician or want to learn a new instrument you haven't tried before, I highly recommend this course.
The ukulele is portable, affordable and easy to learn. It also works great as an introduction to other stringed instruments like the guitar. With this course you will learn how to strum and pluck your favorite songs in no time!
Piano
In this course we will focus on playing chords, scales and improvisation rather than sheet music and reading notes. It's an easier and faster way to learn, and you will soon find yourself independently taking on your own favorite songs. This style typically suits modern genres like pop, rock and indie music, but if requested I'll be happy to dive into other more traditional genres as well.
Guitar
Whether you want to play acoustic or electric guitar, this is the course for you! Here you will learn to strum powerful chords, pluck beautiful melodies and handle your instrument like it's second nature to you. We will also cover how to read tablature and how to play extended and additional chords, among other things. With the freedom of choosing the type of music you want to play, I can guarantee you'll have a blast learning this instrument!
Singing
There is nothing so freeing as to be able to fully express yourself with your voice! With these lessons you will begin your journey to become a confident, experienced vocalist. We will cover the anatomy and psychology of the voice, how to sing healthy with good support and experimenting with different vocal techniques—all in order for you to develop and sing all your favorite genres.
Songwriting
Are you dreaming of creating your own music, but just don't know where to start? Or have you tried it, but getting self-contious or keep getting stuck in the process? Let me help you get just the sound and expression you're looking for! In this course we will thoroughly go through and explore song building, lyrical composition, chord progressions and more.
Music Theory
In all my courses we will cover music theory to some extent. However, in this course you will get to really break down and dissect the building stones that make up music as we know it. What is the difference between note, pitch and tone? How does the circle of fifths work and how can it be useful in creating, playing and even listening to music? How do you orient yourself among intervals, clefs, sharps and flats? You will learn all that and much more when signing up for this course.
